Ibiza & chill & party : 8 Things to do in Ibiza

Ibiza is small spanish island located in the Mediterranean Sea off the east coast of Spain. Ibiza surprises. While famous for the biggest parties in the summer, it has actually a lot more to offer than just the party.  Ibiza is a must do every summer, don’t plan a lot of days, even though you can hardly get bored there.

Here is a “valley guide” for this small island that I hope you would like.

First and foremost, where to stay ?

It actually depends of what you want to do and how many are you.

The best plan would be to rent a villa somewhere in the island and get a car to be able to move easily, the island is really small you can enjoy riding and going from a side to another, north to south.

If you stay in Ibiza town itself, you can either choose a small hotel in Old Town or the 2 famous hotels : Ushuaia and Hard Rock Hotel. In these hotels, you will be at the heart of the party.

I have stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel, I enjoyed a beautiful room with a view on the ocean, they offer yoga classes in the morning, and there are giant pools, very nice and friendly staff, there is an easy and cool access to the beach where you can lay all day.

Now that you have where to sleep, these are the things I recommend doing while on the island:

1/ WATCH THE SUNSET @SUNSET ASHRAM

As you may know, I have this sunset obsession, when traveling, I’m always looking for a place where I can feed this obsession, there is a unique spot where you can enjoy sushis and watch the sunset

2/ CALA COMTE

Don’t stay in Ibiza Town to go to the beach. Rent a car and explore the island.

You probably have seen beautiful beaches in your life, but the ones in Ibiza are really really beautiful. I let those pics speak

3/ GET LOST IN IBIZA OLD TOWN :

Ibiza old town is fantastic, little shops, little restaurants, just go and get lost ..

4/ ENJOY A FOOD WITH A VIEW: AMANTE IBIZA

My favorite one is Amante Ibiza. You need a car to get there but the view and the food are absolutely stunning

5/ PARTYYYYY :

I did a lot of party in my life and I can ensure the ones in Ibiza are the craziest. I think it is because people are actually there to party and not just to show off like clubs in Paris for example. People party in swimsuits and flip flops, nobody cares what happening around, everyone is there for the music. It is LIT.

There are a lot of places and clubs, the most famous parties are : Ushuaia, Amnesia, Pacha.. You can party during the day as well but I prefered to go to the beach 🙂

Am I OLD YET ?

6/ GET A CROISSANT AFTER THE PARTY :

After you finish the party, go to the old town, and enjoy a croissant at “Croissant Show”. The old town is still asleep, but the whole atmosphere is lovely. If you are more of bowls person, you can get one at BALI BOWLS IBIZA which is right next to it

7/ FORMENTERA

If you can get a boat, it is better, if you can’t, you can just get the ferry from Ibiza Town. Formentera beaches are even more beautiful (Ses Illetes, Ses Salines ..). I’ve never actually felt a water so warm and refreshing at the same time. I ate there in a cool sea food restaurant “Chezz Gerdi”

8/ WATCH A MOVIE OUTSIDE :

Cinema Paradiso Ibiza offers movies outside on comfortable beds, I’d recommend it for a chill night. Take a jacket of course it can get chilly during the night.

ENJOY IBIZA AND HAVE A REALLY GOOD TIME 😉
